Video: Ford F-150 5.0 Aftermarket Exhaust

When it comes to 2011-2014 Ford F-150 performance, the EcoBoost is often an obvious candidate due to the ease with which power can be added, due to its twin turbo chargers nature it responds very well to tunes, exhaust and intake as well as downpipe modifications. But that doesn’t mean the 5.0 is neglected, not by any means. There are several advantages to the V8. One of which is that irresistible American V8 soundtrack. Which is what we’ll be listening to today in the video’s below, showcasing aftermarket exhaust systems and in most cases a comparison to stock is thrown in too.

First up we have 2013 F-150 equipped with a Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust system, this system will work on a 2009-2014 F-150 with 4.6, 5.4 and 5.0 liter V8 engine, it’s a cat-back system with Super 40 series mufflers:

Here we have another 2013 F-150, this one is outfitted with a Borla S-Type exhaust, this one is a little more pricey than the Flowmaster, but I do think I like the sound of the Borla better, they make a top-notch product:

Next we have a 2011 Ford F-150 FX4 with Magnaflow mufflers, this would be a more cost effective option and I would recommend just a muffler if you are just after a better rumble out of your V8. Power-wise installing just a muffler won’t do a whole lot:

Finally we have a 2014 Ford F-150 King Ranch with Roush Exhaust system, sounds pretty mean! Check it out:
