Readers Rides: 2008 Ford F-250 Lariat

Today we are looking at a truck that is owned by one of our readers, a 2008 Ford F-250 Lariat, a very large truck with its crew cab and long bed configuration. In 2008 the Powerstroke diesel engine displaced 6.4 liters and produced 350 horsepower and 650 ft-lb’s of torque. The owner of this truck certainly seems to be happy with it, I certainly would be with the cushy Lariat interior and powerful diesel engine, read below for his thoughts on the truck:

I love my truck. I bought my 2008 Ford F-250 Lariat long bed used. This vehicle had the features I wanted no modifications were required. The 6.4L Powerstroke engine runs smooth and quiet compared to other diesel engine trucks I looked at. The power allows me to haul anything I could need, from a boat to and RV trailer. While I mostly just use it for my daily commute, I love to be able to hook up and escape the grind in the wild when I am inclined to do so.

The 8 foot bed also holds a good amount of load for when I need to transport things. I find myself making trips to a storage unit to exchange items for seasonal decor in the house (my wifes hobby). I no longer have to make multiple trips when changing a season.

She has not given me any problems as yet. I am in no way inclined to replace her anytime soon.
