2015 Ford F-150 is 700 Pounds Lighter

Or any Ford for that matter, Ford, decided not to air Super Bowl XLIX ads. In previous years Ford had bought ad space during the super bowl, which for many companies is prime advertising, because some people (like me) only care about the ads, since their team isn’t in the Super Bowl. But Ford figured the Super Bowl isn’t the ideal time to air extremely expensive advertisements for its 2015 Ford F-150, or any of their other cars for that matter. I think it’s a great decision, with 30 seconds of air time costing a precious $4.5 million!

Below is a Youtube video of a Ford ad that ran recently titled “Forward March”, narrated by Denis Leary. It boasts a 700 pounds lighter truck, resulting in class leading payload capacity, the fact that it holds over 100 patents and “towing the most out of any half ton pickup, with the muscle to move the world”. Denis signs off with “This is the all-new Ford F-150, the future of tough”. We agree!
